Portfolio Educational Stuff I had the opportunity to work with several Massachusetts school systems within the Mass CAP (Community Access Program). I designed a set of dolls used with pre-K and Kindergartners, helping children learn how to be safe and aware of people they did not know. Each set of dolls included a male 'stranger', a grandmother, a mother, a girl and a boy. These dolls were ethnically mixed, so there really wasn't an obvious family group. I designed and produced 4 sets of 5 dolls. Each doll was jointed and designed with a handle at the back of the neck, attached to the inner structure of the doll, so the teacher who was leading the program did not have to obviously hold the doll. The dolls ranged in height from 28 to 36 inches. The faces were handpainted.
